Clare was a miracle from the moment she was conceived. Her parents were given a mere 3% chance of having a child so, her arrival in September 2015 was nothing short of a miracle, filling her parents’ hearts with awe and joy.

As Clare blossomed through her early years, destiny dealt an unexpected blow. In June 2018, she was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a rare brain tumor that affects only 150 to 300 children annually in the United States.

The odds seemed impossible against her, with only a .03% chance of being struck by this cruel form of cancer.

But Clare is a true warrior, a living testament to resilience and courage. Though the statistics are grim, with a devastating 90% of children losing their lives within two years of diagnosis and less than 1% surviving beyond five years, Clare has demonstrated an unyielding spirit that defies these numbers.

She was diagnosed when she was 2 years-old and she is 7 years-old now!
