What this piece means to me is all the negativity surrounding her like is she going to be okay? What is her survival rate? Along with dealing with chemo and still trying to be a normal kid. All the odds are against her yet she still decides to stand up and fight for what she believes in which is surviving cancer and to stay positive even in the darkest times. This piece relates to me so much because during my treatment it was hard to do things that I loved to do like basketball. I couldn’t do that along with many other things because it was draining to my body but I always found something else that I could do instead, like photography and art. Just because you can’t do most things doesn’t mean you have to give up. Always have a positive outlook and you will be able to achieve great things!
