The Littlest Heroes renowned Art for Children’s Sake (AFCS) program encourages children to express their feelings through artwork created under the guidance of licensed art therapy professionals. Equally important, it encourages parents and siblings of children with cancer to share the positive, non-medical experience.
All children’s artwork is available for purchase from The Littlest Heroes. Purchases are considered donations to the Art For Children’s Sake Program and the artwork products are complimentary.
Understanding Art Therapy
Art therapy uses the creative process of making art to enhance the physical, mental and emotional well being of individuals. It’s based on the belief that artistic self-expression is central to healing and wellness.

AFCS Annual Art Show
Each fall, AFCS hosts its popular art show, at which the creative projects of young cancer patients are displayed, reviewed and rewarded. Past top prizes have included a trip to Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, and a weekend at Kalahari Resorts in Sandusky, Ohio. The artwork is then prepared for sale through auction and at our online store to directly support future programs.
